Since I was young I’ve loved animals — both learning about and taking care of them. I began working as a full-time Pet Care Provider in 2021 and now have the opportunity to share my love of animals with my clients and pet owners all over. I pride myself on the high-standard of care and services that my team and I offer. I hope I get the chance to meet your lovely pet soon.
When I first began the process of creating my own pet care service, I had one thing that was a necessity. I knew that I did not want your pets to be left alone overnight, this is why I live on-site. I am there all hours of the night to ensure that your pets are kept safe and comfortable.
As someone who has worked at a dog daycare for years, fostered dogs, trained employees, and can understand dogs well, I can attest to the importance of experience in this field.
I have fostered pups in the past and it has allowed me to see firsthand the importance of patience and compassion when working with animals.
Working at a dog daycare and boarding facility previous to starting my own, has given me invaluable experience in understanding the different personalities and needs of various pets. It has also taught me how to handle difficult situations with dogs and how to keep them safe while they play.
Through hard work and dedication, I was able to work my way up to a managerial position at my previous job. Training employees has given me leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate important information about dog behavior and safety protocols.
Overall, my experience working with pets makes me confident in my ability to provide excellent care for any furry family member. I am passionate about animal welfare and would be honored to have the opportunity to work in a field where I can make a positive impact on their lives while you are away.
Many facilities allow all of the pups to play together in too large of groups. This causes tension, overstimulation, and even fights between dogs. Here at Pawsome Inn, we observe the pups behaviors when meeting other pups to ensure they will not be with another pup they don't get along with. When your pup first arrives, we will allow them some outdoor time to themselves to acclimate to their surroundings. We then will try a fence to fence meeting with another friendly pup that we feel will do well with their personality. If things go well, we will allow them to play together in a very large yard to ensure neither of them feel trapped. Staff will always be present during these introductions.
We offer state-of-the-art facilities that are designed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your pets to play, sleep, and relax.
Our facility has been around for 30+ years and has a long history in dog boarding! We also have some of the best outdoor play yards in the area. We don’t just offer a small area of turf for the pups to play on. We have 6 acres and almost half of the property is covered with grass outdoor play yards for the pups to take in all the smells and sights and have room to run. With 14 spacious enclosed yards at our facility it allows us to give the pups a new yard to explore each day! This keeps your pups enriched, happy and entertained for the duration of their stay. We even have the ability to open multiple yards together to make them even larger.
Here at Pawsome Inn, we all understand that not all dogs enjoy playing with others! We also know that it can be difficult to find a facility to watch your furry family member if they are not social. We believe that every pup deserves to enjoy a fun and relaxing vacation. We put in the extra work to ensure your pup will stay safe and happy during their stay here. Not having your dog fixed is also extra work for our staff to help do our best that there are no accidents and usually requires individual play. Because these services take extra time we do charge a little more for them – $43/night.
