Sneak peak: Back of house updates

We recently revamped the pups' dens and updated our flooring. To create a quieter and more soothing environment, we chose solid panels to separate the dens, reducing noise and creating a calmer space for the dogs!

Please note that this video was filmed during the winter months, so the dog doors are insulated to ensure the space stays warm and comfortable for the dogs.

What does a typical day look like for boarding?

6:30/7:00 AM

The pups are outside for a morning potty break, and to get a bit of energy out to start the day!

7:30 AM

Breakfasts are passed out. The dogs must rest after eating before they are allowed back outside to run around. This lowers the risk of them developing bloat! During this rest time, we do allow quick, individual potty breaks.

8:30 AM

Everyone is back outside for playtime! The pups that are here for a sleepover, will join the daycare pups outside to play. If your dog cannot be with others, they will be in their own yard.

Noon

The pups are back inside after playtime to take a nap. We require naps for the pups, as they do get crabby after running around all morning. It is also essential for their muscles, so they can continue to stay healthy, and give their body a break. It is unhealthy for a dog to be go, go, go all day!

2:00 PM

The pups are back outside for yet another playtime!

4:00/5:00 PM

Everyone is back inside for dinner time! Once again, we do require that they rest after eating to avoid bloat. We do allow quick, individual potty breaks during this rest time.

6:30/7:00 PM

The pups are back outside to play after resting!

8:00 PM

Everyone is back inside to settle in for bedtime for the evening!

8:30/9:00 PM

One last potty break outside for everyone. Once everyone is back inside, calming dog music is put on throughout the facility, and the lights are out!

What about daycare?

Daycare!

Daycare is the exact same as a sleepover, but the pups enjoy more playtime due to not having any meal breaks. Their day begins when you drop them off, they have a noon nap time, and then playtime until they go home for the day!
